Sudetenland Hitler had a strong desire for Sudentenland. He convinced Britain's Prime Minister Chamberlain to give him Sudetenland or accept the consequences of not fulfilling his demand. Chamberlain gave into Hitler's demands in order to avoid conflicts with Germany. The Czechs who occupied Sudetenland at the time did want agree with Hitler and his plans for self government for Sudetenland. The Czechs did not have the protective hands of Britain behind their backs. They had to deal with this issue on their own. They could either follow Hitlers order and give him their land in order to avoid conflict, or they could try revolting. The Germans were quite powerful at the time, and if the Sudanese went into war with the powerful country, victory would be too predictable for the Germans. The president of Sudetenland decided to avoid the conflict that would arise if he didn't fulfill Hitlers demand and eventually gave him the land.
